Holiday e-Greeting 2007

This holiday season we were given the opportunity to take a crack at Landau Associates' annual e-greeting.

The idea requires some knowledge of Landau and their industry before it can be easily understood. Plainly stated, Landau Associates makes it so that Industry and Nature work together. That is, the industry doesn't happen unless Landau finds a way to make sure it won't harm the nature. This is our understanding of it anyway. Of course, we thought they all wore lab coats and walked around with microscopes and pocket protectors, and then we found out that was completely incorrect. But we found out before we started building this animation which is based on the explanation above, which, they say, is pretty accurate.

So you see a snowflake, and you zoom in through it and see a project Landau has worked on. Yes, those buildings are not figments of our imaginations, they are illustrations of actual Landau Associates' projects. After zooming in and seeing a few buildings, then you start seeing trees and streams and nature in general. Then you zoom out of the last snowflake and you see everything together, living in harmony. Because that's what Landau does, they make everything harmonious.
