Marketing Collateral
posted Wednesday March 19, 2008 by Dave

Like leaves on a tree, marketing collateral is an important part of a presentation. You could say marketing collateral ices the cake. It wraps the package. It gels the hair and slices the bread. It flips the coin and calls heads, wins the kickoff, gives the victory speech and says "amen." Yes sir. We ask marketing collateral to do a lot and when it's made right, it delivers.

Perfect Surface of Wa
Brochure
posted Wednesday March 12, 2008 by Dave

After rebranding the Perfect Surface of Washington Identity, then redesigning their website, they still liked us. We're not quite sure why, we did our best to irritate them. But they stuck around. So, logically, we designed a brochure for them.

In order to make the job as cost effective as possible, we set up the main brochure with a place holder for a pricing card that could be printed separately and at lower quantities. Currently Perfect Surface is using the 2008 price card. When 2009 rolls around, we'll print another short run of updated 2009 price cards and they will be inserted into a selection of already-printed brochures. And then we'll have to remember to update this entry.

Notebook

103.

That's the maximum number of times legible appreciation can be expressed on a single page of a 5" x 7" notebook. Really. We did the research. You just can't fit any more on there and still be able to read the gratitude.

And since there's not much more to say about that, we offer you a challenge: Find the number "103" somewhere else on this website, and we'll buy you a beer. Or coffee if that's more your cup of... coffee, I guess.

Laurel Group
Brochure

When your company starts doing well, I mean really well, one of the first things you should do is go out and get a brochure made. And you should make sure that the company who designs it knows how to set it up for things like "spot varnish". Why? Because spot varnishing makes things really shiny. And we all know shiny is good.
